Pictures from this weekend.

She's looking so grown up to me these days!

I combat that by keeping this guy in footie jammies. It helps retain some of the "baby" about him.

I love these two pictures of my handsome boys!

Have I ever mentioned that I dislike pictures of myself?
Well I do. But I don't want the kids to look back and wonder if they actually had a mother.

We had a relaxing weekend full of playtime, lots of book reading, and football.
(Of course)

Looking forward to another week of beautiful fall weather!
Happy Monday :)

Good for you for getting in the picture! And you are adorable! You have a very beautiful family, you know. Sounds like a fun time together. :)
She does look older, but wait until she has no front teeth! Or when the new ones grow in! Then it's time to croak.
And I totally love footie jammies. I secretly want to buy some for myself. Strangely enough, I can't stand to sleep in socks, so it probably wouldn't end well.

ha, I read your comment this morning as I'm listening to "All aboard!" in the background. :)
It's a catchy little song, isn't it?!

I love your pics, what camera do you use?

Thanks! :) I use a Canon Rebel. These were taken using the best bargain lens out there-- 50mm/1.8.

Your family is adorable - as is your daughter's hat! And good job taking photos of yourself, there aren't nearly enough photos of me and my mom growing up because she was always the one taking pictures!

A couple of questions...
Do you have the XTi or the XSi (Rebel, that is)?

Do you post-process your pictures? I don't know if that's really what you call it...photoshop or lightroom or whatever.

I have the Canon XTi and I also have that lens and my pics are totally hit or miss. Also, the lens broke after a couple of months (I'm not sure that one of my kids wasn't involved in the scenario, but Mike thinks that no, they weren't based on what seems to be the problem). Anyway, since someone asked about your camera, I am curious about these other things. I have read and fooled around with settings, and I still don't get consistently good photos. It's totally possible that I am just, well, that I am to photography as Erin is to pancakes. And if that is the case, then so be it.

Christina,
I'll try to post soon & answer your ?'s that way.
The quick answers-- XSi, Photoshop Elements, and I take a ton so that one or two will be decent ;)
