This & That

Josh is away on a 5-week TDY and has requested frequent bloggie updates so he can see the kiddos. I'm happy to oblige, darling ;) After all, I know I would miss these sweet faces like crazy if I had to leave them behind. The list of things I wouldn't miss is also extensive and starts with Dora the Explorer.

(she must be a mouth breather)

Alex has been missing Josh a lot...this is the conversation we had tonight as I was getting her out of the bath :
me: "I love you baby."
alex: "Why do you love me, is it 'cause I'm your girl?"
me: "Yup, and Daddy loves you too."
alex: "I miss Daddy. I wish he was here every day. 'Cause he's my friend."
***odd sound***
alex: "I made a toot."
And that was the end of that conversation.

In other news, I also bought Photoshop Elements this week, which is a photo-editing software program. I have absolutely no idea how to use it, and it doesn't come with any instructions. So I guess there's going to be a lot of trial and error on my part figuring it out. But I was successful in my endeavor to remove snot and drool from the face of my beloved son. Observe the masterpiece!
Here we are playing peek-a-boo with the curtains. Love the way that you styled your eyebrow using a crusty booger Derek! (You may have to click on the picture to get a full appreciation of the afore-mentioned booger, the snot under his nose, and the drool on his chin)

And voila-- snot free. Though I couldn't really fix the crust in the eyebrow. That would probably require the regular (expensive) version of Photoshop. Or a bath.

Josh, hope this was good for a quick-fix, I'll be back to post more soon!

You're getting all pro with your camera and equipment. I must book a session before your prices go up!!

Wow that photoshop is actually really impressive. And, even more impressive is your patience for it! When Collin doesn't look great in a photo, I'm too lazy to fix it beyond red-eye correction which is right on the camera itself! Good for you! Maybe that's why your pictures are cuter than mine.
