Wow! I woke up to an e-mail from Beth, our sweet photographer, who had already put some pictures up on her blog.
She is part of Operation Love Reunited, in which professional photographers volunteer their time to come take photos for returning troops. What a neat program! We are so thankful that she was willing to come out and document our big event.
Here is a link to see the pictures...
Now I just need to work on getting my husband home, again.
Dang that protocol that makes them attend briefings the morning after they get home!

thanks for the good cry this morning =o) the pics were awesome!
I think you should start a petition to change that protocol! :)
Lovely!!!
I am so proud of What Josh accomplished during his time away, but I am even more proud of what you accomplished during that time. You held your head high and represented yourself well as a wife supporting her Man, Josh is a very luck guy. You traveled cross country to share your time and our Grand kids with us which we thank you for. I never heard you complain but I did enjoy having you lay your head in my lap and pretend that you needed my comfort. I love you so much and I am glad to know that Josh will be home and you dont have to be appart for a long time.
Love you guys Dad
Very sweet pictures! ~ Lisa
Oh my gosh! I love those pictures and I am so, so happy for all of you! :)
Love the pictures. Also love the scarf! ;)
ok, now your dad is making me cry!!!
Oh my - your dad totally has me bawling right now!!! Seriously! Sigh... this life we have isn't for sissies, it's hard, it's incredible, it's an honor, it stinks sometimes (OK, a LOT sometimes)... but he is right... you keep it real, while keeping it as together as possible, and admitting that sometimes, it's just not all together, and that's. Ok. Love you friend - so glad your man is back. (And yeah, those day-after briefings just SUCK. What the heck...)
**sniff.... Sniff....
I'm going to have to ban your dad from the comment section ;-).
Very very sweet. I love the pictures. I love you can see a small glimpse of the crying. Tears me up!
Erin, you did a great job as a wife and a mother. When I visited you were calm, patient, and loving. I'm thrilled Hot husband is home!!! Thank you Josh for your service, thank you God for his safe return
